December 27 - A little catch up!

I stayed the night at Grandma and Grandpa's Friday night, and I enjoyed that very much!! I brought my baby over and enjoyed showing him off.

Mommy and Daddy bought a new ottoman on Saturday. They decided it would be a good idea to get rid of the glass-topped coffee table (hmmm... wonder why??) and found this large ottoman at Twitchell's. They didn't love it in the store, but liked it much better when they got home. Whew!

I'm sure lots of other stuff happened over the weekend, but I couldn't tell you what! This is the problem when Mommy doesn't actually update the blog until a week or more after the events take place! I know we saw Ross and Lynn and exchanged Christmas presents. I got a really cute Christmas teddy bear and a very fun outfit.

December 26 - What A Difference A Day Makes!

When Mommy and I opened my present with this baby doll on Christmas, I FREAKED out-- and not in a good way!! I was furiously shaking my arm back and forth (my initial version of "NO") and fussing a bit. I wanted nothing to do with this doll. Didn't want to hold him, didn't want him in my new wagon, wanted him out of sight!!

Well, today, I notice Mommy "feeding" him a bottle and "burping" him. I found that to be very interesting. When she suggested I feed the baby a bottle, I jumped all over it. I quickly got over my distaste for the little guy, and now I love to feed him and hold him and will carry him around all over the place.

Maybe this will be good practice for when my little sister comes along in May!

 
 
 
 

December 25 - Merry Christmas!

I had a very special Christmas this year. Mommy, Daddy and I were snowed in. I imagine this is the first, and last, time this will ever happen! We had a great time opening Christmas presents, playing with my new kitchen and wagon, and of course making a few "phone calls" on my new plush phone that came with a cute little plush purse.

Mommy had to improvise a Christmas Dinner, as we were not able to go to Uncle Darren's for dinner. Mommy and Daddy enjoyed some Curried Chicken with rice and fresh French Bread by candlelight. I had sweet potatoes and french bread, which I luuuuv!

 
 
 
 

December 23 - More Fun In The Snow

Mommy took the day off today (she couldn't get into the office), so we took the opportunity to hang out in the snow for a while. I had a little trouble walking in it, but I found that sticking my tongue out while I concentrated on walking helped a bit. I'm so like my mother!

 
 
 
 

December 22 - Christmas Comes a Wee Bit Early

All three of us were getting a little tired of the same old toys and routine, so Mommy and Daddy let me open a Christmas present early (Magnadoodle). I really loved it!!

Here are pictures of me playing with that and more snow pictures (in a slideshow). Daddy made me a sled out of a cement mixer tub and rope (how MacGyver of him!) It worked really well on the packed snow, but Mommy didn't do so well pulling me in the deep stuff-- I got a little snow in my bucket, but I handled that just fine!

 
 
 
 

December 18 - pictures

Mommy is really, really, really behind on updating my blog. We had a great snowstorm in mid-late December. We were all housebound, but we had a wonderful time "weathering the storm" together :-)

Here are some pictures and a slideshow from about a week of our snow days. I had lots of fun playing on my stool and on my little couch/bed (which makes my hair very staticky). I found the Christmas tree very tempting, especially the little pinocchio that has moving arms and legs.

 
 
 
 

December 17 - Let It Snow!

Sniffly, drippy nose aside (nothing to do with the snow), I had a GREAT time playing in the snow today with Mommy and Daddy! We made a snowman, and I liked marching back and forth in the snow!

 
 
 
 

December 13 - Party Time

December 12 - Fun With Cheerios

Mommy gave me some Cheerios after I was finished with my Yogurt. I accidentally got one stuck smack in between my lip and nose. Mom thought it was SO funny, so I did it again. By the time Daddy brought the camera, I was experimenting with putting the Cheerios elsewhere in the same general area.

Mommy couldn't stop laughing, and she fully realizes that I'm not far from sticking a Cheerio up my nose!

December 7 - Morning Reading Time

Seems like Max is my biggest competition for Mommy's lap. This was reinforced this morning, when we were jockeying for position for a seat in Mommy's lap for story time. We had some good compromises (and Mommy makes sure that I get to sit where I want!)

We had a good time reading this morning. Please don't be disturbed that it looks like Mommy was going to take a bite out of my head. I think she was just singing or something!
