June 28 - Hangin' out in the mornin'!

Here are a couple pictures of me hanging out this morning. Little did I know how HOT it would get today! Daddy kept me nice and cool today by letting me play in my "pool tub". I had a lot of fun with that! I can't wait until I'm bigger and get a real pool!

To confess: I didn't actually write this post on 6/28. I didn't get a chance until 7/1, so I'm not sure I captured all the highlights of my day. I'll update if I recall anything spectacular :-)

June 22 - Change in the Weather

Here we are on Day 2. What a difference a day makes! It's much cooler today, but fortunately it's not raining. Mommy, Daddy and I went for a very nice walk before we went to breakfast at McMenamins. I made a new friend, named "Samson". He really wanted to say "Hi" up close and personal. It's a good thing Samson's Daddy had him on a tight leash! I had such a wonderful time during my first trip to the beach!

June 21 - I'm comin' for ya!!

This is my first time at the beach and my first experience with sand. I liked both very much!! Here I am, gunnin' for my Pops!

I'll post a slide show of it and other events at the beach very soon!

June 21 - Swimming

I think this is the last post for my Saturday at the coast. Here I am swimming with Lynn and Ross. Mommy and Daddy are busy golfing!

June 19 - My 1 Year Pictures!

Mommy picked up my pictures today. Since she bought the photo CD, she's just gonna post them on here in a slide show. I look pretty darn cute, if I do say so myself!

The good (and bad) news is, it seems Mommy has finally figured out how Daddy creates his slide shows!! The bad news is, if she posts slide shows, she can't view them at work (Blogger gets blocked, boo hoo hoo!!!) Talk about your quandaries!!!!!

We have a big weekend coming up. Mommy and Daddy are golfing tomorrow. I'm either going to spend the day in day care (with a room full of sniffly babies), or I'm going to the golf tournament and Grandpa will take me home during the golf and bring me back in time for the BBQ. We're still trying to figure that out.

After, we are going to the beach with Ross and Lynn. We are still trying to figure out the logistics on THAT as well! :-)

Can't wait to give you the full report next week. My first trip to the coast, YIPPEEEEE!!! I will hope for good weather!

June 13 - Just Call Me "Fiddy Cent"

As in "Fiddy perCent"... I went to the doctor yesterday for my 12 month check up, and I was approx. 50th percentile for height, weight, & head circumference. It's nice that I'm finally proportional. We'll try to keep that up during my lifetime!! :-)

I had a very nice day today. I got to bond with Daddy this morning while mom took a few extra Z's. I had a really nice nap, followed by lunch & a bath and then Mommy took me to get my 12-month pictures taken. I was SO cute-as-a-button... Mommy just had to buy the photo CD with ALL the pictures on them. Good thing pictures taper off after year 1... Mommy and Daddy would need to take out a loan just to keep up with my photoshoots!!

After mommy picked out the pictures, we went to visit the G'rents, an activity I always enjoy so very much!!

Tomorrow will be really special... I'm having a sleep-over at the G'rents while Mommy and Daddy go out to celebrate their friend Deb's 40th Birthday. A good time will be had by all!

June 7 - It's Fun To Be One!

I had my birthday party today, and it was sooooooo much fun! All my family was there (minus Uncle Damon, who was in Italy) plus Aunt Cyndi and her parents, Barb & Bob Howard, Uncle Ross & Auntie Lynn, and 'NaeNae, Steve & Alyssa. It was so nice to see everyone. They gave me very nice clothes and toys, and I even got a pair of crocs! Lynn made cupcakes, and I had my very own Carrot Cupcake. It was VERY yummy!!!

Here are a few pictures from my party. I will ask daddy to help me with a slide show. Mommy doesn't remember how to do it. What a nice day. I was so worn out, I slept like a rock!

June 6 - Daddy's Back, All Is Right In The World

Daddy is back, and I was so happy to see him. We had a late birthday celebration. Here are a few pictures of me with the wonderful presents I received from my Turner family-- Grammy T sent me the toy train set that includes the letters of my name. Made mommy think of my Grampy, and I think she teared up. Grammy also sent me a SUPER cool homemade soccer ball. I don't have good pictures of me with it yet, but I'll post when I do. Grammy T is SOOOOOO talented!!

I love the Elmo camera Uncle Mike, Aunt Amy, and cousins Ally and Morgan sent me. It's my first (and probably not my last) Elmo toy! they also sent me two very pretty dresses, which I like very much!!! Gosh, it occurred to mommy that she probably hasn't properly thanked the Turners. She'll fix that soon.

June 5 - It's M'Birthday!

Oh, I had a great day today!!! It was my birthday and I had a very nice time with mommy and Grandma. Daddy had to fly to Reno, so it was just us girls. Here are some pictures of me enjoying my birthday waffles. I had fun in the afternoon... I hung out with Grandma while mommy went shopping for my up coming birthday party. I got to see grandpa for a little bit before Mommy and I went home.

Boy, I need to do my blogs more often, as I sometimes forget what happens during the day after so much time has passed. Small brain, short memory... :-)

June 2 - Trippy Cup

Daddy showed me this cup he and mommy got at the Rainforest Cafe when we were in California a few weeks ago. It lights up on the bottom and looks so cool when you look down the middle of the cup. Daddy dimmed the lights, and I really had fun chasing it around the floor. It was all fun and games until I rolled it too hard and the bottom chipped. With my eagle eye, I was able to find some of the plastic pieces and they looked fairly edible. Fortunately Dad caught me and fished the very sharp piece of plastic out of my mouth. I nearly broke my injury free record tonight.
