What a busy, busy day I had! Mommy and I took a nice walk in the morning. After lunch, we decided to get out of Dad's hair (he's super busy with work right now) So, we went to a garage sale for all of 3 minutes. No kiddie stuff. We next went to Kohl's to look for some kid shoes. That was a bust, but I did get 2 new books and some Winnie the Pooh sippy cups. We next went to see Grandpa at his office. I impressed Dawn with my "ooh's" and rasberries and my budding walking skills. As if that wasn't enough activity, I then met Aunt Cyndi at Nordstrom, where she helped pick out my first pair of shoes!!! They are Stride Rites and are so spiffy! Mom had sticker shock, but she got over it because a) it's good for my feet and 2) she was able to use a gift card. In the end, the shoes cost about 4 bucks. I was very tired after my busy afternoon, but I didn't fall asleep until about 1 mile from home. As gently as she could, mommy brought me into the house and I slept for about 40 minutes in my car seat.

Then I had a nice long nurse, followed by dinner. My folks and I went to Ridgefield's "First Friday" event in downtown Ridgefield. Even though the town is tiny and there aren't many shops, it was really nice to go in and chat with some business owners and to ride around in my stroller. The greatest part of my day is that we walked over to Davis Park, where I had my first experience on a swing. I LOVED it!!!!! I couldn't stop giggling and laughing. People were looking at me and smiling! It was a neato way to end my night, and I can't wait to play on swings again!
