What an exciting morning!! I stayed the night at the grandparents last night, and I had a wonderful surprise when Mommy woke me up (EARLY) this morning so we could leave for California!! I was pretty tired, but I was so happy to see mom & dad, it was O.K.!
Grandpa took Grandma and us to the airport. After we got through the line and to our gate, mommy gave me my favorite kind of breakfast :-)
The flight was good. We had a quick layover in San Jose and then arrived at the John Wayne Airport right on time! My stroller was waiting for me at the gate, which was nice. Daddy checked us in for the rental car (MINI-VAN) and Grandma and Mommy tried feeding me some apple sauce while we waited for our luggage. Mommy disappeared to the restroom, and by the time she got back, they had all of the luggage and were ready to go! Mommy walked about 15 steps and said, "What about the car seat?" That's when everyone realized that it was sitting back in the "Oversize Luggage" area. Oops!! We would've noticed soon enough, but I was glad mommy said something before we got to our car!
The hotel was nice and close to the airport, so we got there in no time! We had a very nice room. I got to sleep in a crib in the same room with Mommy and Daddy. Grandma slept on the sofa bed. It was quite cozy.
